Epstein's Disturbing Correspondence with Emirati Billionaire Unveiled

Feb 16 2026

In a chilling revelation, Jeffrey Epstein expressed his admiration for a "torture video" in an email to Emirati billionaire Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, as disclosed in recently unredacted files.

Bin Sulayem, the CEO of DP World, emerges as one of the six influential figures whose identities were previously concealed in the documents.

The correspondence between Epstein and Sulayem spanned several years, featuring discussions about sexual topics and links to fetish websites, according to the files.

In an email dated April 2009, Epstein inquired, “where are you? are you ok, I loved the torture video.” Sulayem responded, indicating he was in China and would return to the U.S. in May.

Earlier communications from 2007 reveal Sulayem's attempts to meet a supermodel, where he lamented: “After several attempts for several months we managed to meet in NY. there is a misunderstanding she wanted some BUSINESS! while I only wanted some P****NESS!”

In 2015, Sulayem suggested visiting Epstein with his family and shared links to fetish porn sites. The files also indicate that he discussed his sexual experiences with Epstein, who sent him a link to an escort website in 2017.

That same year, Sulayem sought assistance from Epstein regarding a “personal masseuse” at Epstein’s private spa, sharing her passport details while looking for work at a hotel in Turkey.

Images of the two men together surfaced in the files, including one depicting them cooking together, though lacking context or dates.

Bin Sulayem, a Dubai-based real estate developer with an estimated net worth of $8 billion, has led DP World since 2016. The company operates globally in cargo logistics and maritime services, claiming to handle 10% of daily global trade.

In the UK, DP World employs around 5,500 individuals and is recognized for its acquisition of P&O Ferries in 2019. However, the firm faced backlash after laying off nearly 800 employees in 2022 without prior notice or union consultations.

While being named in these files raises eyebrows, it does not imply any wrongdoing on Sulayem's part; he has not faced criminal charges related to Epstein. His name appears over 5,000 times within the documents.

The U.S. Department of Justice granted lawmakers access to these unredacted files for the first time on Monday, prompting Democrat Ro Khanna and Republican Thomas Massie to publicly identify Sulayem among others on Tuesday.

“Until tonight no one knew who sent the torture video to Epstein,” Massie stated on X (formerly Twitter). “I went to DOJ, unredacted the email, and reverse searched the email to discover it was a Sultan.”

“Our law requires VICTIM’s information to be redacted, not information of men who sent Epstein torture porn!”

The DOJ is under increasing pressure to release the remaining three million pages of Epstein files and to remove additional redactions from those already published.

“If we found six men that they were hiding in two hours, imagine how many men they are covering up for in those three million files,” Khanna remarked during a House speech on Tuesday.

Jamie Raskin, ranking member of the House judiciary committee who reviewed the unredacted documents, noted: “I was able to determine that there were tons of completely unnecessary redactions, in addition to the failure to redact the names of victims.”

The Epstein Files Transparency Act, enacted in November, outlines specific criteria for withholding information and redactions, particularly concerning personally identifiable information about victims that could infringe on their privacy; files depicting child abuse or images of death; and information that could disrupt investigations or foreign relations.

This act explicitly prohibits redactions made solely to avoid embarrassment or reputational damage for government officials or public figures. All redactions must be justified in writing.

DP World and the U.S. Department of Justice have been approached for comments regarding these revelations.
