During the Super Bowl on February 8, former NFL sideline reporter Michele Tafoya made her preferences clear, opting to fold laundry rather than watch Bad Bunny's halftime show.
As the Seattle Seahawks clashed with the New England Patriots, Tafoya, 61, took to social media to announce her unconventional halftime plans. “During halftime tonight, I’m going to do something I’ve never done before: fold laundry. #SuperBowl,” she posted on X.
When a follower questioned her claim about never folding laundry, Tafoya clarified her statement in a follow-up post. “I’m going to restructure my sentence,” she wrote. “Tonight, I’m going to do something I’ve never done during a Super Bowl halftime before: fold laundry.”

While it remains uncertain if she tuned into an alternative show, such as Turning Point USA’s All-American Halftime Show, it’s evident that Tafoya missed Bad Bunny’s vibrant performance at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Bad Bunny, 31, featured an array of special guests during his set, including Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, and Cardi B, creating a lively celebration of his Puerto Rican heritage.
Despite mixed reviews from critics—including a scathing remark from former President Donald Trump—an estimated 125 million viewers watched the broadcast on NBC. Trump criticized the performance on Truth Social, calling it “absolutely terrible” and an affront to American values.
Amidst the halftime spectacle, Tafoya, who is currently running for the United States Senate in Minnesota, shared her insights on the game itself. “Thinking @seahawks punter Michael Dickson should be @SuperBowl MVP,” she tweeted after he punted seven times for 335 yards.
Following the Seahawks' 29-13 victory over the Patriots, running back Kenneth Walker III was named Super Bowl MVP. “Super Bowl Champs,” he celebrated on Instagram. “That s*** got a ring to it.”
With football season wrapping up, sports enthusiasts have plenty to anticipate. The NBA All-Star Weekend is set to commence in Los Angeles on February 13, while NBC is also airing the 2026 Winter Olympics.

After the conclusion of Super Bowl LX, Tafoya and her Mini Labradoodle turned their attention to Team USA’s figure skating team. “Have I mentioned my dog watches TV?” she humorously noted on X.
