FBI Unveils $50,000 Bounty in Hunt for Nancy Guthrie
The FBI has placed a $50,000 reward on the table for anyone who can provide information that leads to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie. The agency's announcement comes as the search for the missing woman intensifies, with investigators exploring every possible lead.
Guthrie, last seen in mid-September, has not been heard from since. Authorities describe her as a 35-year-old woman with brown hair and green eyes. Friends and family have expressed deep concern, stating that her disappearance is out of character.
“We are urging anyone with information to come forward,” said an FBI spokesperson during a press briefing. “Every detail, no matter how small, could be crucial in locating Nancy.” The agency is collaborating with local law enforcement and community volunteers to expand their search efforts.
In addition to the reward, the FBI has set up a dedicated hotline for tips related to Guthrie’s case. Investigators are combing through surveillance footage and interviewing potential witnesses in hopes of piecing together her last known movements.
Community members have rallied around the search, organizing vigils and distributing flyers in the area where she was last seen. “We just want her home safe,” a close friend of Guthrie stated. “It’s been incredibly difficult for all of us.”
The FBI encourages anyone with information to contact them directly or reach out to local authorities. As the investigation continues, the hope remains that someone will step forward with vital information that could lead to a breakthrough in this troubling case.
