Lana Condor made a statement on the pink carpet at the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards, donning a striking white gown that has since captured widespread attention online. The actress, known for her role in “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before,” showcased a daring plunging neckline that highlighted her figure, sparking both admiration and controversy among viewers.
The gown, characterized by its flowing fabric and oversized floral accents, accentuated Condor’s silhouette while exuding an ethereal quality. With soft pleats and a design that evoked a goddess-like presence, the dress quickly became a focal point of discussion across social media platforms.
Condor styled her long, dark hair in loose waves, opting for minimal accessories to allow the gown to shine as she posed confidently. However, as images from the event circulated, the conversation shifted from fashion to body image.
Commenters on social media began to critique Condor’s appearance, particularly her chest, which led to a wave of defensive responses. “Men always body-shame women, forgetting how shapeless they are too,” one user remarked, highlighting the double standards often present in public discourse about women's bodies.
Another user chimed in with a pointed observation: “People stay complaining about ‘sagging’ when they’ve clearly never seen big, natural breasts in real life.” This sentiment resonated with many who felt that the criticism reflected unrealistic beauty standards.
Yet not all reactions were supportive; some users offered more straightforward critiques. “She seems busty,” one comment read, while another suggested, “Damn, I love her, but maybe a lift.” Such comments sparked further debate about societal expectations regarding women's bodies.
Despite the mixed reactions, numerous fans defended Condor, emphasizing her beauty in the gown. “Lana looks stunning in that ethereal white gown; the pleats and floral detail give major goddess vibes!” one supporter declared.
“But y’all out here expecting every pair of natural breasts to defy gravity like they’re in a push-up bra commercial?” another user pointedly asked. “Newsflash: real ones move with physics, not filters.” This perspective resonated with many who advocate for body positivity and acceptance.
Beyond her red carpet appearance, Condor has been in the spotlight for her rigorous preparation for her latest film role. At the 2026 SXSW Film & TV Festival, she discussed the intense transformation she underwent for the action thriller “Pretty Lethal.”
“It was pretty crazy. I was incredibly out of shape six months before doing this film,” Condor shared candidly. To prepare for the physically demanding role of a ballerina, she committed to an extensive training regimen that included weight training and ballet classes five days a week, alongside a strict nutritional plan.
“I trained very hard for this because I wanted my body to be prepared,” she explained. “It was a very hard movie, physically, to do.” Condor expressed pride in her transformation and the dedication she put into her training. “I did a crazy amount of training, and I went through a bit of a transformation, which I was very proud of,” she concluded.
