Social Media Star Bianca Dias Passes Away at 27 Following Cosmetic Surgery Complications

Bianca Dias, a prominent Brazilian influencer, passed away on Thursday due to complications arising from plastic surgery.

The 27-year-old social media personality reportedly experienced a pulmonary embolism—a known risk associated with significant cosmetic surgeries—while recovering at her family home near Sao Paulo. Reports indicate she began suffering from shortness of breath during her recovery.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, medical staff were unable to revive her.

Her friend, Giovanna Borges, confirmed the tragic news via Instagram, detailing that Dias had suffered a pulmonary embolism and two seizures prior to her death. “Bia had surgery, and in recovery at home, she had a pulmonary clot, had 2 seizures, and when she arrived at the hospital, she was no longer alive…” Borges shared in her Instagram story.

This incident occurred just 18 days post-surgery, although the specific procedure performed remains undisclosed.

Known for her lifestyle and modeling content, Dias had amassed nearly 60,000 followers on Instagram. Her last post was a selfie taken in a car in Sao Paulo on December 18.

Since the announcement of her passing, tributes have poured in from friends and fans alike. Jeff Carlos, a massage therapist and close friend, expressed his sorrow on social media, stating, “Death is nothing at all. Our bond has not been broken.”

Another friend and fellow content creator, Patrícia Ganden, also shared heartfelt words on Instagram: “I just know that we had beautiful moments, incredible conversations; may God comfort the family. I will remember you with much affection and pride.”

In light of this tragedy, local authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her untimely death.
