Brooks Nader Reveals Surreal Moment in Iconic ‘Baywatch’ Swimsuit Fitting: ‘I Got This’
Brooks Nader stepped into a red “Baywatch” swimsuit recently, a moment she has anticipated since childhood.
In a candid interview, the model expressed her enthusiasm for the reboot of the beloved series, revealing that she has long admired the original stars, Carmen Electra and Pamela Anderson. “I’ve been doing this since I was like two years old. I’ve been ready for this. I’m like, ‘I got this,’” she stated, reflecting on her lifelong dream to embody the iconic role.
Nader, 29, described the experience of wearing the swimsuit for the first time as “out-of-body,” noting that even the wardrobe team felt a wave of emotion. “They were like, ‘This is so big and this is so exciting.’ The energy with the cast and crew is just spectacular; everyone’s so excited to see it all come to life,” she shared.
With a playful nod to the series’ signature slow-motion scenes, Nader joked about her newfound tendency to “only run in slow-mo.” The upcoming Fox reboot, which also features Noah Beck and Livvy Dunne, is set to premiere in the 2026-27 season, continuing the legacy of a show that originally aired for 11 seasons starting in 1989.
This new iteration follows both the original series and a 2017 film featuring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. The red swimsuit has become a symbol of the franchise, with Anderson still donning it decades later. “I had a couple back then. Now I only have one and it fits,” Anderson remarked in a recent interview, adding that she occasionally wears it.
Electra, who portrayed Lani McKenzie in the original series, has also spoken about the empowering nature of the swimsuit. “I have my suit framed, and when people come over to the house, they get really excited,” she told a publication in 2019. “It just has this effect on people. It was empowering.”
As anticipation builds for the reboot, Nader’s excitement reflects a broader enthusiasm among fans and cast alike. “I think everyone’s going to love the show and everyone’s working really hard. So it’s exciting,” she concluded.
