Meghan's MasterChef Triumph Overshadowed by Harry's £50 Million Legal Nightmare
Meghan Markle's appearance on MasterChef Australia shattered records, pulling in a staggering 1.16 million viewers nationwide.
However, this success is marred by Prince Harry's legal troubles. TalkTV host Kevin O'Sullivan highlighted a significant setback for the Duke of Sussex, who lost a High Court privacy case alongside six other high-profile figures, now facing a potential legal bill of up to £50 million.

O'Sullivan noted that Meghan's MasterChef segment was filmed months prior during their time in Australia. He stated, "What we do know is that Meghan is increasingly worried about money due to the fact that in two days time, on Wednesday, Mr Justice Nicklin, the judge in the long running case of Harry, Elton John, Liz Hurley, their celebrity pals, which they spectacularly lost against The Mail - that judge is sitting in judgment on who will pay for this extremely expensive four year case. Costing around £50m."
He emphasized the urgency of the situation: "Harry is going to have to find a lot of money pretty damn quickly, and quite frankly, there is not a lot of money flowing into Montecito at the moment. Meghan is not at all pleased."

Royal biographer Angela Levin echoed these concerns, suggesting that despite their lavish lifestyle, financial pressures loom large. "If you think about how they’re living they’re much more rich than you imagine. Otherwise you’re not going to buy a nice home in Portugal, you’re going to be very careful."
Levin speculated that Harry might turn to his father, King Charles, for financial support. "I think in the end they’re going to get the King to do it," she remarked. “I hope he doesn’t.”

The Sussexes face mounting reports of financial strain, driven by high living costs and increasing pressure, though these claims remain unverified.
Earlier in July, Harry traveled to the UK to promote the Invictus Games in Birmingham. During this visit, King Charles met with Harry, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
