Prince Harry's reputation took another hit when a family member publicly branded him "dramatic" during a live television segment.
Vogue Williams, sister-in-law to Pippa Matthews, unleashed her scathing remarks on ITV's Loose Women, targeting Harry's ongoing accommodation spat with Buckingham Palace. This comes amid his indecision about bringing Meghan Markle and their children back to the UK.
Vogue, married to Spencer Matthews, who is Pippa's brother, didn't hold back. She stated, "It seems whenever Harry is coming back into the country, there’s this massive amount of drama." Her words cut deep, highlighting the stark contrast between Harry's chaotic visits and the seamless travels of other royal family members.
She further suggested that the royal family might be avoiding him, saying, "[The Royals] probably don’t really want to find the time to see him because they probably aren’t close anymore." This comment underscores a growing rift within the family.
Vogue also expressed her own family values, asserting, "I would never ever come out and say something against my family, even if we were having problems at home." She added, "I wouldn’t come out with a book and absolutely annihilate all of them."
This public critique follows a controversial segment on the Jeremy Vine Show, where a caller labeled King Charles "pathetic" for not preparing a room for his son. The caller, Bill, expressed disbelief that a son in line for the throne, who served in Afghanistan for a decade, would be treated this way.
Bill's comments included a harsh comparison of Harry's service to that of other royals, stating, "the only royal who fought in Afghanistan, the others with their chocolate medals on when they parade through the streets... it’s pathetic!"
Viewers quickly pointed out inaccuracies in Bill's claims, noting that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor also served in the Falklands War, adding fuel to the fire of public discourse surrounding the royal family.
