Courtroom Chaos: Alleged Shooter's 'Confession' Letter Leaked Amidst Shocking Testimony

Lance Twiggs, the roommate and trans lover of Tyler Robinson, the alleged shooter of Charlie Kirk, dropped bombshell admissions during a preliminary hearing that shook the courtroom.

Twiggs disclosed that Robinson confessed to the murder of the right-wing activist not once, but three times, including after sneaking back to their shared residence in Utah.

This shocking revelation follows a moment of controversy when Robinson appeared to laugh in court just feet away from Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk.

During the Thursday hearing, Twiggs recounted waking up the morning after the September 10 assassination to find Robinson pacing anxiously in their apartment.

Robinson broke down in tears, expressing profound remorse for his actions before declaring his intention to surrender to law enforcement.

Prosecutor Ryan McBride questioned Twiggs about Robinson’s immediate feelings of guilt on September 11. Twiggs recalled their emotional confrontation just one day after Kirk’s death.

“Didn’t go into detail… I just asked him in person if what he said was true the night before, and he said it was… started crying a little bit, and said he wishes he hadn’t done it,” Twiggs stated in the footage, adding that Robinson eventually expressed a desire to talk to his parents or turn himself in.

The other two confessions came through a note and text messages to Twiggs, which were mistakenly displayed in court during the Thursday hearing.

A significant courtroom blunder occurred when Robinson’s alleged “confession” letter was shown, violating a strict pre-trial order from Judge Tony Graf prohibiting any media from broadcasting anything classified as an official confession before a jury is finalized.

This rule was broken due to a livestream error that exposed clear images of the suspect’s handwritten note to online viewers.

In the confession note, Robinson referred to Twiggs by his chosen name, “Luna,” instead of “Lance.”

“If you are reading this per my text, then I am so sorry. I left the house this morning on a mission, and set an auto text. I am likely dead, or facing a lengthy prison sentence. I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and I took it. I don’t know if I will/have succeeded, but I had hoped to make it home to you,” the note read.

The note continued with a haunting sentiment: “I wish we could have lived in a world where this did not feel necessary. I wish I could have stayed for you and lived our lives together.”

During his police interview, Twiggs noted that he had not yet asked everyone in his life to use his chosen name, indicating that only a select few called him “Luna.”

Earlier this year, a relative of Twiggs spoke out about his relationship with Robinson while clarifying his whereabouts at the time of the incident.

The 22-year-old had been living with Robinson in a $1,800-a-month St. George residence leading up to Kirk’s assassination but vanished from the property in the weeks that followed.

It was later revealed that Twiggs had been under FBI protection for some time and was quietly staying with family in Texas after receiving death threats.

“My understanding was for the first few weeks, cause there were so many threats against his family and him, that… they did have a little bit of FBI detail, and they kind of moved around a little bit,” Twiggs’ relative stated during an interview.

Speaking further about Robinson and Twiggs, the anonymous relative described the couple as very “antisocial” and disconnected from reality.

“Being as antisocial as they were… they didn’t seem like they were in a real world,” the relative remarked.

The source expressed heartbreak over how things turned out for both individuals, especially Robinson.

“Both of them are super smart… [Lance] was a concert pianist – he has talent for piano. [His] music was off the charts – not normal, it was very impressive,” the relative recalled. “And that’s kind of what I heard about Tyler is that he was just so smart. It’s just a shame that these kids had so much potential and such a bright future.”

Robinson stands accused of murdering Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA. The shooting occurred during a campus event at Utah Valley University.

The charges against Robinson include aggravated murder, felony weapon discharge, obstruction of justice, and witness tampering, stemming from allegations that he ordered Twiggs to delete texts and hide evidence.

Robinson has yet to enter a formal plea; his defense attorneys are currently focused on fighting against capital punishment in this case.

As the five-day preliminary hearing nears its conclusion, State District Judge Tony Graf has mandated all proceedings wrap up. His upcoming ruling will determine if Robinson will officially face a capital murder trial.

Prosecutors are relying on extensive evidence, including campus rooftop surveillance and disputed DNA testing.
