Daveigh Chase, known for her role in The Ring, has died at 35. Her boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, confirmed the news.

Reports indicate she succumbed to meningitis and a blood infection that triggered septic issues, ultimately leading to her body shutting down.

Earlier this month, she was hospitalized due to malnutrition. No additional details have surfaced regarding her condition or circumstances surrounding her death.

Chase gained fame for portraying Samara Morgan in The Ring and voiced Lilo in Lilo & Stitch, as well as Chihiro in Spirited Away. She also played Samantha Darko in Donnie Darko. Among her accolades, she received a Young Artist Award for her work in Lilo & Stitch.
