Democratic Rep. Jimmy Gomez Admits to Infidelity After Scandalous Exposé

California Democratic Rep. Jimmy Gomez's admission of infidelity comes after a scandal erupted when he was caught kissing a congressional aide outside a party in Washington, D.C. The revelation triggered an official investigation that unearthed disturbing new details.

“Years ago, I made personal mistakes outside my marriage that have caused real pain to my wife and family,” Gomez stated, acknowledging the fallout from his actions.

In August 2023, Gomez was seen engaging in a passionate kiss with a much younger aide linked to another lawmaker outside the residence of then-Rep. Eric Swalwell, who resigned amid a slew of sexual misconduct allegations.

Initially, Gomez denied the allegations reported, but his recent confession failed to clarify specific instances of wrongdoing.

“This guy is a sleezebag. He should resign and use his free time to trade war stories with Swalwell,” remarked a Democratic source familiar with the situation.
