‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ Star Robert Capron Transforms into a Stunning Adult at 28
Robert Capron, known for his role as Rowley Jefferson in the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" franchise, has hit 28, and fans are reeling from his jaw-dropping transformation.
Pop Crave shared striking side-by-side images showcasing Capron as the iconic character and his current self, sporting darker hair and a fit physique that leaves him nearly unrecognizable.
Commenters expressed disbelief, with one stating, "the glow up is serious lol," while another exclaimed, "Oh, he's so adorable!"

A third user lamented, "Bro didn't have to grow up," and a fourth quipped, "Wait a minute! Who are you?"
Another fan chimed in, "Damn, Rowley grew up handsome. Good for him."

One comment captured the sentiment of many: "Rowley all grown up is making an entire generation of millennials and Gen Z feel ancient right now."

Capron portrayed Rowley in the franchise from 2010 to 2017. A standout moment from 2011's "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules" became a viral sensation.
The clip, titled "Rowley Waves and Looks Down," features Capron's character witnessing his friend Greg Heffley (played by Zachary Gordon) entering church with a pink shawl covering a chocolate stain on his pants.

In the scene, Rowley waves cheerfully before glancing down at the shawl with a skeptical expression.
On Thursday, fans revisited the meme across social media to celebrate Capron's birthday.

"Thanks for the meme," one user commented, while another referred to it as "unforgettable."

Capron has previously shared that despite starring in four films based on Jeff Kinney's 2007 book series, the memes have become his favorite aspect of the experience.
"From the bottom of my heart, my favorite part now, truly," Capron stated in a 2024 interview with Feature First.

"As somebody who went to high school and sent around some goofy GIFs and all of that, it is so delightful to me that I am now being sent around as a reaction GIF, presumably in a lot of different high schools," he added.
In the same interview, he remarked, "People talk about winning an Oscar and different things. I think like the goofball teenager in me is very proud to be a part of the meme pantheon that way; it’s very weird but I’m thankful for it. It’s kind of wild."
