Felicia Beckwith Pleads Guilty in Drug Case After Major Bust

Jun 23 2026

Felicia Beckwith, the ex of Jelly Roll, just copped a plea in her drug case following her 2025 arrest.

Beckwith, 37, is the mother of Jelly Roll's 18-year-old daughter, Bailee DeFord. She pleaded guilty to possession of less than 0.5 grams of fentanyl on June 18, as confirmed by Washington County court records. Fentanyl is classified as a Schedule II drug, notorious for its high potential for abuse.

All other charges against her were dropped. The Washington County court clerk confirmed that Beckwith received a sentence of three years supervised probation. This development comes as Jelly Roll has filed for divorce from his wife of nearly a decade, Bunnie Xo.

In February, Beckwith was arrested alongside two others for possession of drugs, firearms, and cash. A press release from the Washington County Sheriff detailed that the trio was taken into custody after deputies executed a traffic stop in downtown Johnson City and conducted a search warrant at a residence linked to one of the other suspects.

During the operation, authorities seized 343 grams of methamphetamine, 12 grams of fentanyl, and 16.5 grams of an unidentified crystal-like substance that could be methamphetamine or fentanyl. They also recovered four handguns, $1,200 in cash, various pills, and paraphernalia indicative of narcotics distribution.

Beckwith was found with a bag containing methamphetamine, fentanyl, and pills in her vehicle. Following her arrest, she was taken to the Washington County Detention Center and held on a $4,000 bond.

Charges against her included manufacture/delivery/selling/possession of methamphetamine, Schedule II drug violations, two counts of simple possession/casual exchange, and unlawful drug paraphernalia.

Beckwith and Jelly Roll, 41, were together before he hit it big in country music. They met at a mutual friend's house when he was still involved in drug dealing. Their daughter Bailee was born while Jelly Roll was incarcerated for drug offenses.

Jelly Roll (real name Jason DeFord) has battled substance abuse issues himself. He revealed to Billboard in 2023 that learning about Bailee's birth while behind bars pushed him to change his life. It was a wake-up call that made him realize he needed to turn things around.

In 2017, Jelly and Bunnie were granted primary custody of Bailee when she was eight years old. Bailee recently graduated from high school.

In a February 2024 episode of Bunnie's Dumb Blonde podcast, Bailee disclosed that her mother had relapsed. Jelly Roll's 2023 documentary revealed that Beckwith had been sober for six years at that time.

Jelly Roll also has another child from a previous relationship with ex-Melissa Ann Cowell: son Noah DeFord, 9.
