“Frankie, I am so sorry that you felt the need to delete an old funny video of our family because people are so cruel to you,” Price commented on their joint Instagram post, adding, “this world is so f–ked.”

She acknowledged the harsh reality of divorce, stating it’s “bad,” but emphasized that neither she nor Muniz are “excited about it.”

Price insisted they are “two adults who know how to be on the same team,” expressing disbelief that anyone would criticize their situation.

With a 5-year-old son named Mauz, Price later shared a black-and-white ocean image on her Instagram Story, accompanied by a message: “The internet is a scary place. I wish you all a kinder sea.”

On another slide, she added, “Being misread does not alter the architecture of who you are. It only reveals the limits of the observer.”

Earlier that day, Muniz posted a video of himself, Price, and Mauz dancing in their living room to We The Kings’ 2007 hit “Check Yes, Juliet.”

The video featured the caption, “Who says you cant [sic] stay best friends with your baby momma?”

“🚨 Life update! 🚨 Following a period of separation that we kept private, Paige and I have decided to move forward with ending our marriage,” he wrote in the post.

He reflected on their decade together, stating they’ve grown into a deep friendship and co-parenting partnership. “We share an incredible son who remains the center of our world, and we’re both happier, stronger parents because of the love and growth we’ve shared,” he said.

The “Malcolm in the Middle” star, now a professional NASCAR driver, praised Price for her sacrifices, including putting her dreams on hold for his career. “She was always my biggest supporter,” he said, asserting their “foundation of respect and friendship isn’t going anywhere.”

Muniz expressed excitement about continuing to build their racing business, Muniz Racing, and co-parenting with teamwork and love.

He stated they are closing one chapter with gratitude while opening another with bright futures ahead for themselves and their son. “Thank you for the love and support,” he concluded.

Muniz made it clear that neither he nor Price would be “entertain[ing] any questions on this matter” and requested “respect” and “privacy.”

However, many online users were “confused” by the dancing video, with accusations that Muniz was “celebrating breaking up his family.”

Conservative commentator Michael Knowles slammed the clip as “bizarre” and “offensive,” claiming it made him feel “nauseous.”

Muniz responded on X, clarifying, “It wasn’t to celebrate our divorce. Far from it. We grieved our divorce beyond anything you can imagine.”

He explained that the video was meant to celebrate their ability to handle the situation amicably. “Everyone is just used to the hideous mudslinging a lot of couples do at the end of a relationship so they don’t know how to take it when two people are cordial.”

His revised divorce announcement included a family photo with the same caption as before.

The couple married in February 2020 after getting engaged in November 2018. They dated for nearly three years.
