Ivanka Trump Dismisses Dua Lipa's Criticism Amidst Daughter's Birthday Bash

Ivanka Trump, the second child of President Donald Trump, is unfazed by criticism from singer Dua Lipa, who condemned a luxury resort project linked to Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner.

On July 17, Ivanka took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter, Arabella Rose Kushner, turning 15. She posted a series of images showcasing Arabella with her younger brothers, Joseph Frederick Kushner and Theodore James Kushner, as well as moments of her riding horses and spending time with family.

“Happy 15th Birthday to my extraordinary girl,” Ivanka wrote. “You amaze me every day with your kindness, curiosity, brilliance and strength.” This tribute followed Ivanka and Jared’s appearance at a so-called “billionaire summer camp.”

Ivanka continued her heartfelt message, expressing pride in Arabella’s dedication and poise. “I love you more than words can express. Happy Birthday, Arabella,” she added.

Fans flooded the comments section with birthday wishes. One user exclaimed, “Happy 15th Birthday to you Beautiful Arabella!! Enjoy every moment!” Another chimed in, “Arabella your next USA President.”

However, this celebration came on the heels of Dua Lipa’s vocal support for the “Flamingo Revolution” protests in Albania. The pop star criticized the Albanian government for removing environmental protections without public input, directly opposing the $1.6 billion resort project that Ivanka and Jared are backing.

On her Service95 Book Club podcast, Dua Lipa praised the tens of thousands of demonstrators, calling their mobilization “inspiring.” She expressed concern over the government’s actions regarding environmental laws.

Human rights activist Besim Ndregjon lauded Dua Lipa for her stance, calling her “a worthy defender of freedom” and highlighting her impact on Albanian society.

In an article for an Albanian news outlet, Ndregjon thanked Dua Lipa for her contributions to the freedom of Albanians under what he described as “Edi Rama’s communism.”

Aleksandër Trajçe, executive director of the Protection and Preservation of Natural Environment in Albania (PPNEA), referred to Dua Lipa’s comments as “a breath of fresh air,” noting her influence on young Albanians.

Protests erupted weeks ago against the luxury coastal resort development in a protected area associated with Jared Kushner. Demonstrators have expanded their grievances to broader anti-government and anti-corruption issues.

Protesters have been seen carrying pink flamingo balloons, symbolizing the wildlife threatened by the resort project. This movement has been dubbed “the pink flamingo revolution.”

Sazan Island, where the resort is planned, spans 1,400 acres in the Adriatic Sea. The island is historically significant and was purchased by Trump’s daughter and her husband for $1.4 billion last year, sparking outrage among locals who now refer to it as “Trump Island.”
