Karoline Leavitt Humiliated on Fox News as Viewers Roast Her Empty Background

Karoline Leavitt faced a brutal public shaming during her return to Fox and Friends, with viewers seizing the moment to ridicule her empty backdrop.

Eight weeks post-childbirth, the 28-year-old White House Press Secretary for President Donald Trump made her comeback. She attempted to frame her return in a blend of patriotic fervor and maternal pride, but quickly pivoted to sharp political critiques and praise for her boss's ongoing State Fair festivities celebrating America's 250th birthday.

In footage shared on social media, Leavitt, who welcomed her second child, Viviana, on May 1, stood in front of a nearly deserted field. This backdrop starkly contrasted with Trump's dismissive comment about a housing bill being a "big yawn."

Dressed in a striking red blazer and dark pants, Leavitt declared, "It is an amazing week. How cool that we are live, and get to experience America's 250th birthday."

She continued, detailing Trump's busy schedule: "On Wednesday, he's going to North Dakota for a speech at the Theodore Roosevelt Library."

Leavitt added, "On Friday, he's going to South Dakota, First Peach at Mount Rushmore, and then here on the Fourth of July, Saturday night, big speech in the largest firework show in history."

The segment was shared on Instagram with the caption, "The biggest birthday party in our nation's history starts... NOW! @karolineleavitt stopped by to fill us in on the president's jam-packed schedule this week."

Viewers wasted no time in the comments section, unleashing their scorn. One user quipped, "LOW ATTENDANCE A FLOP," accompanied by laughing emojis. Another chimed in with, "Nobody behind her, so coooool," while a third suggested, "Look behind you." A fourth user questioned, "Karoline where are all the people? Seems no one is showing up."

"All of the 10 people at the fair," mocked another commenter, with a sixth adding, "I hope the 50 brain deads that turned up had a ball."

Since its launch last week, President Trump's Great American State Fair in Washington, D.C., has faced significant hurdles: sparse crowds, vacant vendor spaces, weather issues, performer cancellations, state withdrawals, and organizational conflicts.

Earlier this week, Fox News attempted to cover the event while downplaying the evident lack of attendance. Correspondent Peter Doocy described the scene as "really something" during an interview with Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins while overlooking rain-soaked grounds with only a handful of visitors visible across the expansive event area.

He acknowledged, "The weather, not the best today, but people are still coming out." The network even suggested that viewers' perceptions were incorrect when footage clearly showed largely empty spaces between vendor stalls on the National Mall.
