Karyna Shuliak: Epstein's 'Last Heiress' Caught in Human Tooth Smuggling Scandal

Karyna Shuliak, the enigmatic figure tied to Jeffrey Epstein, is now embroiled in a scandal that’s as bizarre as it is shocking. Allegations have surfaced claiming she was involved in an illicit operation that included smuggling 50 human teeth into the United States.

This 36-year-old Belarusian-born dentist, often referred to as Epstein’s last romantic partner and primary heiress, has found herself at the center of a storm following the release of documents that raise more questions than answers.

Shuliak was named in Epstein's “1953 Trust,” signed just two days before his death in August 2019, which outlined her as the main beneficiary of his estate. Veteran journalist Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez uncovered an eyebrow-raising email hidden within the Justice Department’s trove of Epstein-related files.

The email, dated October 2017, was from Rajesh Kannan, an Indian dentist known for possessing the “largest collection of extracted human teeth.” In a message dated October 22, Kannan wrote to Shuliak: “Hi payments received for 50 anteriors. Reply with full shipping address with mobile number. bye.”

After Shuliak provided her details, Kannan followed up with instructions regarding the shipment. “Hi the tooth parcel has arrived usa and you will receive them soon. further in order to avoid loss of teeth due to postal inspection we have attached all teeth to a cardboard with fevicol,” he stated.

In a bizarre twist, Kannan advised her on how to prepare the teeth upon arrival: “It will look like a beautiful picture. remove all teeth and put them in hot boiling water for 20 minutes and using a clean cloth wipe them.”

Valdes-Rodriguez pointed out that Shuliak, a licensed dentist who graduated from Columbia University’s dental school after Epstein allegedly bribed school officials with over $600,000, has raised eyebrows among experts. They argue that there are “no legitimate dental procedures” requiring extracted human teeth.

“So what was Shuliak doing with all those (very expensive) smuggled human teeth? We do not know,” Valdes-Rodriguez mused. “But experts I spoke to agree: No legitimate dental procedure uses extracted human teeth.”

She further noted that anterior teeth, like those Shuliak allegedly smuggled from India, are prime sources of human DNA. “The pulp, protected by enamel, preserves genetic material with exceptional reliability long after death,” she explained.

Bringing human biological specimens into the U.S. under false pretenses is no small matter; it’s a federal offense under 18 USC 542, potentially leading to two years behind bars. As this scandal unfolds, the implications for Shuliak and her connection to Epstein’s dark legacy continue to deepen.
