Lara Trump Labeled a 'Grifter' as She Peddles USA Activewear

Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, is under fire for promoting her USA-themed activewear line, with critics branding her a "grifter."

On June 25, Lara shared a promotional image on Instagram for her brand, Lara Trump Collection. The photo showcased her perched on a green tennis umpire chair, clad in a white tank top and matching skirt, flanked by two models in "America Made" shirts—one white, the other blue.

While some followers praised the post, others unleashed a torrent of criticism. This isn't the first time Lara has faced such backlash; just days earlier, she was called out for another promotional post featuring her brand's merchandise.

In response to her latest Instagram post, one critic remarked, "#1 Grifter family! Always selling something!" Another user chimed in with, "Silly. GRIFTER." A third quipped, "The tee shirts are AWESOME!! So soft and VERY ABSORBENT…… for WIPING YOUR A-- or LINING A BIRDCAGE." Others expressed their disdain with comments like "idiot" and "Proper s---! Please fall off a cliff! Nobody cares other than you!"

Despite the backlash, Lara's supporters flooded the comments with emojis and compliments. One fan declared, "big fan mam," while another simply stated, "Beautiful." The caption for the promotional image read, "250 years strong. American Made always."

Earlier on June 22, Lara showcased her physique in a "MAGA red" USA tank top from her collection. In that post, she posed in front of a red pickup truck, wearing the $40 top alongside black leggings and a brown-rimmed hat.

Comments on that post echoed similar sentiments. One user wrote, "Another Grift," while another added, "Silly girl. ENDLESS grifting." A third user bluntly stated, "Trash," and a fourth remarked, "Smart people don't buy c--- from thieves."

In previous posts, Lara has also been criticized for her marketing tactics. One comment read, "Plastics. All of it. The plastic and disposable American Dream. Sad ad.:(. Save the Earth. Epstein files. Remove and arrest the Grifters from Queens."

Supporters continued to express admiration for her posts. One user commented, "Total perfection," while another said, "You're an absolute bad a--!!!" Yet another praised the collection with, "LOVE this! Not a want but a need."

The brand's caption for the tank top emphasized its American roots: "American spirit never goes out of style." The product description on LaraTrump.com highlights the tank top's 100% cotton material and its design features.

Before this latest controversy, Lara was previously labeled a grifter after announcing her wellness chat series titled "Lara Trump Answers Fan Questions!" in late April. One critic at that time scoffed, "Who TF would want to spend a day with this grifter? You couldn't pay me enough to want to do that."
