‘Lost’ Star’s Secret Divorce Shocker: Seven Years Down the Drain
Maggie Grace, known for her role in "Lost," filed for divorce from Brent Bushnell in May 2025, marking the end of their seven-year marriage. The actress cited an "irretrievably broken" relationship, claiming they had been living apart since October 1, 2024.

In her divorce petition, Grace requested to revert to her birth name, Margaret Grace Ives. The couple welcomed their first child, a son, in 2020, who was four years old at the time of the filing.

Documents revealed that they also have a daughter named Fiona, born before the filing, who was one year old at that time. Both parents share decision-making responsibilities regarding schooling, healthcare, and extracurricular activities.

Grace was granted primary custody of their children. Bushnell retains weekend custody of their son and will gain weekend custody of their daughter when she turns three and a half. The co-parents agreed to split holidays, allowing Grace some weekends with the children and enabling Bushnell to request her assistance during his parenting time if he is out of town for work.

The couple signed a prenup in May 2017, which Grace requested be upheld in the divorce proceedings. The finalized divorce was dated August 13, 2025.

Grace and Bushnell got engaged in February 2017, with Grace sharing the news on Instagram alongside a romantic photo of them in a canoe. She quoted Whitman, stating, “The strongest and sweetest songs yet remain to be sung.”

Before her marriage to Bushnell, Grace was engaged to filmmaker Matthew Cooke. In 2015, she showcased an engagement ring from him at the Global Green USA pre-Oscar party.
A representative for Grace did not respond to requests for comment on Tuesday evening, and a representative for Bushnell was unavailable for comment.
