MAGA Influencer Declares, 'We Do Not Recognize President Donald J. Trump Anymore

Carrie Prejean Boller, once a staunch advocate for President Donald Trump, has publicly criticized him regarding the ongoing conflict with Iran. This shift marks a significant moment for the influencer, who has been associated with Trump for nearly two decades.

During an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, she expressed her disappointment candidly. “I’ve been a loyal supporter of the president for almost 20 years,” she stated, recalling her early connection to Trump from her time as Miss California. “I do not recognize our president.”

Her remarks took a sharp turn as she addressed U.S. foreign policy, particularly concerning Israel. “I think that we are an occupied nation,” she asserted, suggesting that foreign influence has infiltrated the U.S. government. “This president is being influenced by a foreign government.”

In a bold declaration, she proclaimed, “MAGA is dead. It is deader than dead. And Americans are furious. We do not recognize President Donald J Trump anymore.” This statement reflects a growing discontent among some of Trump's supporters.

The backdrop of her comments includes the recent U.S.-Israeli airstrikes on Iran, which commenced on February 28 and resulted in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. This event has escalated tensions in the region, leading to retaliatory strikes from Iran against its Gulf neighbors hosting U.S. military assets, resulting in casualties among American service members.

As the conflict unfolds, reports indicate that members of Trump’s administration are experiencing “buyer’s remorse” regarding the war, although the White House maintains that the president's inner circle remains supportive.

Public disagreements have surfaced among high-profile figures within Trump's base. Notably, Tucker Carlson and Marjorie Taylor Greene have clashed with more interventionist Republicans like Lindsey Graham and Ted Cruz, highlighting a rift within the MAGA movement.

Social media has become a battleground for these disputes, as seen in the heated exchanges between Megyn Kelly and Mark Levin over the weekend, signaling a potential civil war among MAGA supporters.

In a related development, Sameerah Munshi resigned from her role as an adviser to the White House Religious Liberty Commission in protest of the airstrikes. Prejean Boller herself faced removal from the same commission after allegedly disrupting a hearing on antisemitism.

During that hearing, she defended Candace Owens against accusations of antisemitism and questioned whether not supporting Zionism could be considered antisemitic. “I listen to her daily, and I haven’t heard one thing out of her mouth that I would say is antisemitic,” she argued.

Following her removal, Prejean Boller took to X (formerly Twitter) to address Trump directly, stating, “The only Catholic woman who opposes Zionism was removed as a prelude to the Iran war.”

In her open letter to Trump, she expressed her disillusionment with the movement he initiated: “I thought MAGA stood for defending Americans who speak their convictions without fear of punishment,” she wrote. “I thought MAGA was putting America first, not Israel. Today I struggle to recognize the movement you started.”
