Marjorie Taylor Greene Blasts Trump for Criticizing Tucker Carlson: 'He’s Lost Touch with MAGA'
In a bold statement, former Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene defended Tucker Carlson, directly challenging President Donald Trump's recent remarks about the right-wing commentator.
Trump's criticism of Carlson followed the latter's condemnation of attacks on Iran, which he labeled as "absolutely disgusting and evil." Trump responded by suggesting that Carlson has "lost his way."
During an interview with journalist Jonathan Karl, Trump expressed his views on Carlson's comments. "I knew that a long time ago, and he's not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that," Trump stated.
Greene quickly countered Trump's assertions, declaring, "Trump doesn't even know what MAGA is anymore," accusing him of prioritizing donors over the America First agenda.

She further claimed, "Tucker would beat Trump if he ran for President and Trump tried to violate the constitution and tried to run again for a third term," highlighting a growing divide within the MAGA movement.
Trump has previously addressed criticisms from various figures within the MAGA sphere, including Carlson and Megyn Kelly. In a conversation with Rachael Bade from The Inner Circle, he asserted, "I think that MAGA is Trump, MAGA's not the other two."
"MAGA wants to see our country thrive and be safe. And MAGA loves what I'm doing, every aspect of it," he continued, framing ongoing military actions as necessary for national security.
Trump also took aim at Kelly, suggesting she should "study her history book a little bit," reflecting on her past opposition to him during his initial campaign.
"Megyn was opposed to me for years when I ran the first time and nothing stopped me," Trump remarked. "And so, you know, some people are against — and they always come back. She came all the way back. But now I guess she maybe doesn't like the idea of this war, but I do because I have to keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of the Iranians," he added.
Greene has not shied away from criticizing Trump in recent months, particularly regarding his handling of sensitive issues like the Epstein Files and military actions against Iran.
In a recent discussion with Kelly, Greene suggested that Trump's belief about not going to heaven might influence his decision-making regarding the common good.
