Maya Jama Sparks Dating Rumors with Chef After Ruben Dias Breakup

Maya Jama was seen laughing and embracing chef James Freeman outside his trendy restaurant Acre in Notting Hill, west London.

The Love Island host ignited fresh speculation about her love life after being spotted with the rising culinary star just months after ending her 18-month relationship with footballer Ruben Dias.

Jama, 31, spent the afternoon soaking up the sun with friends before lingering to chat with the 27-year-old head chef once service wrapped up.

Witnesses reported that the two appeared to enjoy each other's company, sharing drinks and smoking together outside the restaurant.

An onlooker noted, "Maya and James appeared to strike up a close bond long after service had finished. They were chatting, drinking, and smoking before hugging."

The pair then joined a group heading to a nearby house party, further fueling speculation about their relationship.

James Freeman has quickly risen through the ranks in the restaurant industry, gaining recognition as one of London's most exciting young chefs.

Despite his focus on creating indulgent dishes, Freeman maintains a fitness regimen. He previously stated, "I exercise and have a sauna and an ice bath. I have a dachshund, so I like to go on dog-walks."

Maya's romantic history has often made headlines. Before her relationship with Dias, she was linked to rapper Stormzy and NBA player Ben Simmons, who has connections to Kendall Jenner.

Professionally, Maya continues to thrive. She hosts the latest series of Love Island and serves as the face of luxury swimwear and lingerie brand Agent Provocateur, frequently sharing glamorous campaign images with her followers.

Despite the buzz surrounding her interaction with Freeman, sources claim there is no romantic involvement between them. An insider clarified, "Maya and James are friends, but he is in a relationship."

For now, it seems the two are simply good friends, although their affectionate greeting has certainly sparked conversation among fans.

James Freeman is 27 years old.
