Behind the scenes, she admitted to causing chaos for the glam team before the Sunday night show, stating she was "stressing the glam team out as usual."

Despite her regular appearances on the spin-off show and a strong social media presence, fans are clamoring for more of her. She hinted at a return to the Love Island villa this week, suggesting more twists or potential bombshells are on the horizon.

Maya always believed she would break into showbiz, despite having no connections in the industry. She expressed her ambition, saying, "I just knew I was going to be on telly because everyone around me would say, ‘She’s going to be on telly one day’ – my mum’s friends, teachers, anyone we met on the street."

She received constant encouragement from those around her, which fueled her confidence. "They were all like, ‘She’s got something.’ And because I heard it so much, of course I’m going to believe it," she stated.

While she exudes glamour now, Maya reflected on her younger years, admitting she struggled with femininity and didn't attract attention until later in life. "Nobody believes it unless they see the photos. I was a late bloomer," she revealed.

Maya described herself as a "ragamuffin" during her youth, often hanging out with boys and wearing loose clothing. "I didn’t have any boobs, wasn’t called sexy ever in my life," she recounted. "It was like, ‘Maya’s got a great personality, but she’s not hot’ throughout school. Then I developed, and it was like ‘Oh look, she’s saucy now!’"
