Her online shop is a treasure trove of White House memorabilia, from Christmas ornaments to collectibles, and even her memoir, "Melania," set to hit shelves in 2024. But the real buzz? That necklace. It debuted alongside a limited-edition Mother’s Day purse in collaboration with AGCF, a luxury brand founded by Alexandra Gucci Zarini. A portion of the proceeds goes to Melania's Fostering the Future initiative, but many are questioning if the price tag is justified.
The Love and Gratitude necklace features three hearts intertwined, resembling a flower or a clover, but critics are not holding back. “$245? What a ripoff,” one user blasted on social media. Another quipped, “7-11 has a nicer necklace next to the condoms.” Ouch!
Each piece can be personalized with names or initials, complete with Melania's signature. The example on her site showcases the initials of Melania, Donald, and Barron. The pendant measures 1 inch and hangs from a 16-18 inch adjustable chain made of gold vermeil. But does that justify the price? Many think not.
“That thing’s ugly af. It looks like it should be dangling off a dog collar,” another critic chimed in. And the skepticism doesn’t stop there; one user even questioned the materials: “Is the necklace price $245? Is it 10k, 14k, or real silver?”
But wait, there’s more! Melania has also teamed up with AGCF for a special edition Unity Bag priced at $2,800, set to ship by May 8. This taupe beauty features a gold oval plaque and promises to support educational resources for children in foster care. A whopping 20% of proceeds will benefit Fostering the Future.
The original Unity Bag launched in December 2025 at the same price point, boasting a black pebbled leather exterior and goat suede interior. This comes on the heels of Trump’s infamous ‘creepy’ comment to a military mom while Melania stood by at the White House.
