Military Man Claims Bigfoot Sports 'Unusually Long' Appendage After Close Encounter
Bigfoot sightings are heating up in Ohio, and one military man is making waves with his jaw-dropping claims about the legendary creature's anatomy.
Todd Neese, a seasoned Bigfoot researcher and founder of the American Primate Conservancy, has been tracking these elusive beasts for over three decades. He recently shared insights into why Ohio is buzzing with fresh Bigfoot activity. “Believe it or not, Ohio ranks fourth in the U.S. for sightings. There’s a little pocket of them in those woods,” Neese told a Fox News host, shaking up the skeptics.

Reports of Bigfoot have surged in northeast Ohio, particularly in Portage County, where alleged sightings have skyrocketed since March. Witnesses claim to have spotted creatures towering between 6 to 10 feet tall, with some even snapping photos of massive 17-inch footprints. The buzz is that these hairy giants could be roaming in packs, not just solo.
One eyewitness described a creature with broad shoulders and “unusually long” arms, claiming its sheer size made the ground tremble beneath it. Neese himself transformed from a skeptic to a believer after a close encounter during a military exercise in Oregon back in 1993.
“I was never into this stuff. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I thought it was just urban legend. But everything changed when I saw three of these creatures watching us for about 25 seconds,” Neese recounted, emphasizing how that moment altered his life forever.

He noted that the figures he observed didn’t look “all that human,” with disproportionate silhouettes and elongated limbs that defy human anatomy. “They were massive, between 7 to 9 feet tall, with a more human-like face but covered in hair,” he explained, leaving listeners questioning what exactly lurks in the shadows.
When asked why, in this age of smartphones and cameras, clear images of Bigfoot remain elusive, Neese pointed to sheer probability. “They’re just a rare species. With thousands of cameras out there, the odds of capturing one at the right moment are slim,” he argued.

Local investigator Mike Miller, co-founder of the Ohio Nightstalkers Bigfoot Research Group, links the recent uptick in sightings to this year’s brutal winter. Flooded habitats may be pushing these creatures into unfamiliar territory, increasing human encounters.
Miller claims to have recorded howling sounds that don’t match any known North American animal, with some cries even surpassing baboon frequencies on a spectrograph. Meanwhile, Jeremiah Byron from the Bigfoot Society podcast shared an account from a hiker who noted the creature turned its shoulders instead of its head—a detail that has hardcore enthusiasts buzzing.
This same witness reported a strong musky odor and a low grunt that sent them retreating in fear. Despite the growing number of accounts and eerie sounds echoing through the woods, no definitive photograph has emerged yet. The mystery deepens as Ohio continues to be a hotbed for Bigfoot sightings.
