Mississippi Man Axed After Reporting Dad in Women’s Restroom
A Mississippi man, infamous for dialing 911 on a father aiding his young daughters in a women’s restroom, has been terminated from his real estate position.
The individual worked as an independent contractor and licensed realtor for Starkville-based Overstreet Properties. The incident unfolded during a personal trip, completely detached from company business, according to reports.

Following the uproar online, Overstreet Properties severed ties with him, stating his actions clashed with the company's values.
This debacle erupted at an Alabama QuikTrip gas station when Oklahoma dad Tyler Brodsky escorted his two young daughters into an unoccupied women’s restroom while returning from Florida. He opted for it over the “dirty” men’s room.
The man confronted Brodsky for being in the women’s restroom with his children and proceeded to call the police. Brodsky later shared the encounter on TikTok, which has amassed 24 million views.

Overstreet Properties acknowledged the videos circulating on social media that showcased the conduct of their former independent contractor during a personal trip unrelated to the company. They issued a statement emphasizing that the behavior depicted does not align with their standards.
“Our focus remains on providing quality service to our clients, partners, and community,” they stated. “The individual depicted in the video is no longer associated with Overstreet Properties.”
Brodsky’s viral TikTok captured the irate customer berating him after his wife and “very ill” mother-in-law reported a man inside the women’s restroom.

“There is a man with two little girls using the women’s bathroom,” the customer complained to police. “He’s washing his hands with his daughters right now.”
The confrontation distressed Brodsky’s daughters, who were heard crying amid the escalating argument.
A female QuikTrip employee intervened, closed the restroom door on the customer, and apologized to Brodsky's family.

The customer insisted that the female employee should have escorted the girls into the restroom instead, claiming Brodsky had “no business” being there.
In a follow-up video, Brodsky revealed that three police officers arrived at the gas station and swiftly concluded he had committed no wrongdoing.
“The officers let me know I was OK, I didn’t do anything wrong,” he recounted.

Brodsky noted that officers ultimately asked the other man to vacate the premises.
He commended the responding officers and QuikTrip staff for their treatment of his daughters following the incident.
“Hopefully it’ll bring attention to people that feel the need to berate a mom or dad trying to take care of their kids,” he stated.
