Richard Gere and his family made a splash back in the United States to mark the Fourth of July in New York City after their move to Spain.

On Saturday, Alejandra Silva, Gere's wife, posted on Instagram, showcasing their family reveling in the holiday spirit near the Statue of Liberty.

“Deeply grateful for a life built between two countries, two cultures, and so many people we love,” she wrote in the post.

“Today, we celebrate connection, family, friendship, and everything that reminds us that home is not only a place, but the people we carry in our hearts,” the 43-year-old publicist continued.

“Happy Fourth of July to our family and friends across the United States. ❤️🤍💙.”

The images captured the couple with their two youngest sons, Alexander and James, while cruising on a boat adjacent to the iconic landmark, a global emblem of freedom and democracy.

Other photos in the series showed the boys playing with rocks on the beach and enjoying a fireworks display.

In 2024, Gere disclosed plans for relocating to Silva's native Spain. “My wife is Spanish and she gave me about seven years here and so, we’re going to spend some years in Madrid,” he stated during an appearance on the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

“Our kids are bilingual, so they’re going to flourish there,” he added.

In a previous exclusive interview, Gere mentioned that Silva was “so happy” to be back in her homeland.

“Her family is there, her culture is there, [our] youngest kids are growing up there, their Spanish is perfect,” he remarked.

The “American Gigolo” star and Silva exchanged vows in 2018 after four years of dating.

Gere also has a son named Homer from his marriage to Carey Lowell, while Silva shares a son named Albert with her ex-husband, Govind Friedland.
