In a poignant Instagram post on Wednesday, the Hollywood star shared, “Mike Stone, My oldest brother, Has passed away. Following an extended illness.”
“We wish him peace. Sharon, Roan, Laird & Quinn 🥰,” she added, including her three sons in her heartfelt message.
Mike lived much of his life away from the limelight, but he did share the family talent for acting. He made his debut in the 1990 film “End of the Night” and later appeared alongside Sharon in the 1995 Western “The Quick and the Dead.”
Though he never tied the knot, Mike was briefly engaged to socialite Tamara Beckwith from 1994 to 1995.

This loss comes just months after the death of their younger brother, Patrick Stone, who tragically passed away at 57. Sharon had previously announced Patrick's heart attack in an emotional Instagram video, expressing gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during such a painful time.
Patrick’s widow, Tasha Stone, shared her grief with friends, stating, “My heart feels like it’s been ripped out of my chest. Patrick went to be with our sweet River … I don’t know what else to say, he was my world.”
River was the couple’s 11-month-old son who succumbed to organ failure in August 2021.
Sharon also has a sister, Kelly, the youngest of the four siblings. The Stones were raised in Pennsylvania and shared a tight-knit bond that Sharon detailed in her memoir, “The Beauty of Living Twice.”
Their parents, Dorothy and Joseph Stone, married in 1950 and welcomed their four children during nearly six decades together. Joseph passed away in 2009 at 79, and Dorothy followed last year at 91. Sharon announced her mother’s death on Instagram with a candid tribute: “My hilarious, complex mother died. A product of the last depression, let’s NOT do this again.”
