Stephen Colbert's Audience Erupts Over 'Most Remarkable' Anti-Trump Spectacle
On Monday night, Stephen Colbert, host of the “Late Show,” delved into the recent “No Kings” protests aimed at President Donald Trump, which took place over the weekend.
“Trump is so unpopular that even Europe hosted ‘No Kings’ rallies,” Colbert remarked, referencing a particularly awkward gathering in London, given the presence of the British monarchy.
Among the various signs displayed at the U.S. protests, Colbert highlighted a few that caught his attention, including one that labeled Trump’s administration as “The Turd Reich” and another proclaiming, “Jimmy Kimmel has higher ratings than you!”
However, it was an extravagant visual that truly captured his interest—not a sign, but a striking inflatable.
“Perhaps the most remarkable of all was this inflatable Trump pooping directly onto the Constitution,” he stated, sharing footage of the balloon as the audience erupted in applause.
“That is,” Colbert continued, punctuating his admiration with a chef’s kiss. “Spectacular craftsmanship, above all else.”
