Sumit Singh Begs for Cash Amid Jenny Slatten's ALS Struggle

Jun 23 2026

Sumit Singh, a star from 90 Day Fiancé, is openly soliciting money from the public as his wife, Jenny Slatten, grapples with ALS.

“If you wanna support this journey, you can book a cameo or donate or if you want me to do something for you in exchange of money, let me know,” Sumit, 38, stated on Instagram.

He elaborated on his financial plea, stating that he aims to ease Jenny's life as she endures the debilitating symptoms of ALS.

“Jenny can’t travel by herself and it’s not easy to travel for that long,” he explained in an Instagram video. “It’s also not easy for me to get a Visa. I’m not at that point where I could choose whether I want to travel or not.”

Jenny, who has three daughters from a previous marriage, interjected to clarify that she lacks insurance in India.

The couple expressed reluctance to commit to traveling from India to the United States without a “better solution” in place.

“It’s going to take a lot of money to travel there,” Sumit said. “I’m here to make sure Jenny is doing well or whenever she needs me, I try to be available. Whatever she needs, I want to do it.”

When questioned about why Jenny, 68, isn’t staying with her daughters, Sumit claimed her children “have their own family and their own lives.”

Jenny added, “I don’t want to be a burden.”

In response, one of Jenny’s daughters commented, “Mom, please know you are never a burden. I would love to have you here and that’s what us children are for but I know you won’t be happy and you want to be with your husband.”

Last month marked the first time Jenny disclosed her ALS diagnosis on social media. She expressed her openness to any form of assistance, including treatments and clinical trials.

ALS is a nervous system disease that deteriorates nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, leading to muscle weakness and worsening symptoms over time. No cure exists, but research into new therapies continues.

“Money will not heal, but it will support and make life easier,” Sumit stated in his latest Instagram video. “We never asked for money. We’ve struggled a lot many times but we’ve never asked and we need it now. That’s why we’re asking.”

Fans first met Jenny and Sumit when they debuted on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way in 2019. They currently reside in India and are featured in a new season of 90 Day: The Last Resort.

“Negativity is very bad for Jenny because it’s not good,” he warned. “Don’t say anything wrong and mean.”

90 Day: The Last Resort airs on TLC Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
