Trump Berates Tucker Carlson Over Iran Remarks: 'He's Off Track'
President Donald Trump unleashed criticism on Tucker Carlson, a prominent right-wing commentator, for his remarks regarding military actions against Iran, declaring that Carlson has "lost his way."
During an interview with ABC News' Jonathan Karl, Trump responded to Carlson's description of the attacks as "absolutely disgusting and evil." The former president did not hold back, stating, "I knew that a long time ago, and he's not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that."
Trump's comments come amid growing tensions within the MAGA community, where he has previously referenced dissent from figures like Carlson and Megyn Kelly. In a conversation with Rachael Bade from The Inner Circle, Trump asserted, "I think that MAGA is Trump, MAGA's not the other two."
"MAGA wants to see our country thrive and be safe. And MAGA loves what I'm doing, every aspect of it," he continued, framing the ongoing conflict as a necessary measure for national security. "This war is a detour that we have to take in order to keep our country safe and keep other countries safe."

Turning his focus to Kelly, Trump suggested she should "study her history book a little bit." He recalled their past disagreements, stating, "Megyn was opposed to me for years when I ran the first time and nothing stopped me." He added that while she may now oppose the war, he believes it is essential to prevent nuclear weapons from falling into Iranian hands.
Kelly has also voiced her disapproval of the military action and recently hosted former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has been critical of the Trump administration on various fronts, including the Epstein files and the current conflict.
Greene raised concerns about Trump's mental state, questioning how his belief that he may not be going to heaven could affect his decision-making as president. "What's on his mind? What's his mental state? If he doesn't think he's going to heaven, and he's toward the end of his life, how does that pan out for the rest of us when we have a president of the United States who is convinced he's not going to heaven? What does that mean for his decision making?" she pondered.
In response to Trump's recent comments about Carlson, Greene remarked that the former president "doesn't even know what MAGA is anymore," adding a provocative note that "Tucker would beat Trump if he ran for President and Trump tried to violate the constitution and tried to run again for a third term."
