Trump Goes Wild: AI Image of Him Hunting 'RINOs' Sparks Outrage
Donald Trump unleashed a bizarre AI-generated image on his Truth Social account, depicting himself hunting "RINOs" while crouched beside a rhinoceros, shotgun in hand. The text blared, "NO RINOS! REPOST TO MAKE THE POINT CLEAR."
The term RINO stands for Republican In Name Only, targeting party members deemed insufficiently conservative. Trump has recently branded fellow Republicans Thomas Massie, Thom Tillis, and David Pascoe as RINOs.
Critics slammed the post as "absolutely unhinged." One user on X called it "another inappropriate and juvenile post by our 80-year-old toddler."

Another user declared, "Absolutely unhinged. This man does not have the mental capacity to be president. All he wants is people bowing to him and doing only what he wants. That's not a president who unites the nation. Disgraceful."
A third critic stated, "He is unhinged, and this violent hate speech is the cause of all of America's problems. The dementia patient needs to go to a nursing home."
One more user remarked, "Wow, promoting the murder of a vulnerable species and fellow Americans. It’s a vile twofer." Trump’s recent AI posts also included an image of Joe Biden asleep at the Oval Office desk, flanked by Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Another image featured Trump holding a gold-tipped pen with the caption, "The dealmaker in chief. Trust in Trump."
This social media frenzy coincided with Pope Leo XIV's call for stricter AI regulations in his encyclical, "Magnifica Humanitas." The pope's document has been highly anticipated since he labeled AI as humanity's most pressing challenge.
In his encyclical, Leo condemned the "culture of power" driving the AI race, particularly regarding advanced remote warfare technologies. He asserted it was "not permissible" to delegate irreversible, lethal decisions to AI systems, creating friction with the Trump administration's push for deregulation in AI development.
Experts in technology, higher education, and Catholic ethics predict that Leo's encyclical will serve as a landmark reference in the ongoing AI debate, influencing lawmakers, scientists, and citizens alike.
