Trump's Outrageous Assertion About Astronaut Aspirations Raises Eyebrows

During a recent meeting with the Artemis II crew in the Oval Office, President Donald Trump made an astonishing declaration regarding his potential as an astronaut. He asserted that he possesses the physical capability to embark on a journey into space.

“To get in there, you have to be very smart. You have to do a lot of things physically good. So I would’ve had no trouble making it. I’m physically very, very good,” Trump stated, while astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen stood in the background, visibly taken aback.

In a moment of curiosity, Trump turned to NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman and inquired, “Is the president allowed to go up in one of these missions?”

Isaacman responded, “We can get working on that, sir,” indicating a willingness to explore the idea further.

Historically, Trump’s physical fitness has been questioned; during the Vietnam War era, he was deemed unfit for military service. He received several draft deferments throughout the 1960s to complete his education, ultimately obtaining a medical deferment for bone spurs in 1968 after graduating.

Social media users quickly seized upon Trump's comments, suggesting that sending him to space might actually benefit the nation while ridiculing the notion of his physical readiness for such an endeavor.
