Trump's Polling Ploy: Rebranding ICE to 'NICE' to Rattle 'Crooked' Reporters
Trump unleashed a wild idea on Truth Social, suggesting a rebranding of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to “NICE,” claiming it would “totally discombobulate” the “Crooked, Dishonest, and Unpatriotic Reporters and Journalists.”

He believes that the mere mention of “NICE Facility” instead of “ICE” would send reporters into a frenzy. “They won’t be able to handle it, they will go totally crazy!” he declared.
Trump proposed that the acronym could be achieved by simply adding “National” to the existing name. However, he claimed that ICE officers are not as enthusiastic about the change. “Everyone loves it, but I have been told by the legendary Tom Homan that the Agents do not love it as much as the other population,” he stated.

Earlier in the day, Trump launched another poll, this time debating whether his derogatory term for Democrats should be spelled “Dumocrat” or “Dumbocrat.” He described the spelling change as “simple and precise,” while making a dubious assertion that “many people don’t know” the word “dumb” ends with a B.
He argued that using “DUMB” loses some identity for Democrats, suggesting a preference for the first option. As of Saturday afternoon, with tens of thousands of votes cast, “NICE Agents” led with 82% support compared to 18% for ICE, while “Dumocrat” was ahead at 63% against 37% for “Dumbocrat.”
