In a recent video shared on March 29, the couple strolled hand-in-hand along a California beach discussing Swalwell's gubernatorial ambitions. He referred to Watts as his “wife and best friend,” emphasizing her support.

In that same video, Watts expressed admiration for Swalwell, describing him as a “really great dad” and “really great husband,” assuring viewers that she and their children can rely on him for anything. Despite the ongoing allegations against Swalwell, Watts has not publicly addressed the situation.

Swalwell, a prominent figure in the Democratic party's California governor race, released a passionate video statement denying the allegations against him. He acknowledged past mistakes and offered an apology to Watts for placing her in a difficult position. “Those mistakes are between me and my wife,” he stated, expressing deep remorse.
