Alex Jones Prays for Trump's Liberation from 'Demonic Forces'

In a candid video shared from his vehicle, Alex Jones, the controversial figure behind InfoWars, voiced his belief that President Donald Trump is ensnared by “demonic influences,” likening his actions to those of a “super villain.” This statement comes after Trump publicly distanced himself from Jones, signaling a potential fracture within the MAGA movement.

Once a staunch ally, Jones was among the first to embrace Trump’s rise in 2015, but recent developments suggest a shift in loyalty among key MAGA supporters. Figures like Marjorie Taylor-Greene and Tucker Carlson have also begun to distance themselves from Trump, citing concerns over issues such as the release of Epstein files and Trump's failure to uphold his promise of avoiding new military conflicts.

“At the end of the day, I just feel sorry for him,” Jones remarked, urging divine intervention for Trump. “I pray that God touch his heart and soul and free him from the demonic influences that he’s under. It’s just that simple.”

Jones elaborated on his concerns regarding Trump’s rhetoric, particularly in light of comments made about Iran. “This is a nightmare,” he stated. “We know that the Democrats are absolutely terrible, but when Trump’s calling for wiping out whole civilizations and acting like a super villain, I have to come out and say I don't support it. It’s that simple.”

In a surprising twist, Jones pointed to First Lady Melania Trump’s recent press conference where she suggested that Epstein’s victims should be allowed to testify before Congress. “Looks to me like she’s breaking with Trump because she knows the ship’s sinking and found out the truth,” he commented.

Melania also asserted during her address that she had no ties to Epstein, further complicating the narrative surrounding the Trump family.

This isn’t the first instance of Jones criticizing Trump, who previously appeared immune to backlash from his supporters. The broadcaster has gone so far as to suggest that Congress should invoke the 25th Amendment against Trump, a constitutional measure for removing a president deemed unfit for office.

Jones’ remarks were prompted by Trump’s alarming statement on Truth Social regarding Iran, which he described as genocidal in nature. “Trump literally sounds like an unhinged super villain from a Marvel comic movie. This IS NOT WHAT WE VOTED FOR!!” he declared on social media.

Democratic lawmakers echoed Jones’ sentiments, calling for Congress to reconvene from its Easter recess to discuss invoking the 25th Amendment.

In response to Jones’ criticisms, Trump took to Truth Social to label him as “Bankrupt” and dismissed his comments as “some of the dumbest things,” referencing Jones’ past controversies surrounding the Sandy Hook shooting victims. Jones was found liable in a defamation case amounting to nearly $1.5 billion for claiming the tragedy was a hoax.
