Ariana Grande Caught Chilling with Ex Ricky Alvarez After Ethan Slater Breakup

Ariana Grande was seen with ex Ricky Alvarez, raising eyebrows just weeks after her breakup with Ethan Slater.

Photos on social media show the “Thank U, Next” singer at a restaurant in Austin, Texas, laughing and chatting with Alvarez.

A source claimed Grande, in town for her “Eternal Sunshine” tour, was simply celebrating her 33rd birthday with friends, insisting there’s “nothing romantic” between her and Ricky this time.

Witnesses reported the “Wicked” star also took time to snap pictures with fans during the outing.

No immediate comment came from Grande’s representative regarding the situation.

This isn’t the first time Grande and Alvarez have been spotted together. They were seen in New York City in 2019, but when dating rumors surfaced, she quickly denied them in a now-deleted tweet, stating, “Spoiler for the rest of this year / probably my life: [I’m dating] no one.”

Grande and Alvarez briefly dated after he joined her Honeymoon Tour in 2015.

Despite their past, they’ve maintained a friendship, with Grande referencing him in her 2019 hit “Thank U, Next,” singing, “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh.”

The recent hangout comes on the heels of Grande’s split from “Wicked” co-star Ethan Slater, who is 34.

Sources revealed that Ariana and Ethan ended their relationship several months ago but have remained friends, expressing mutual respect and admiration.

They reportedly realized they were better off as friends rather than in a committed relationship.

Grande is said to be “feeling really happy and focused” on her upcoming tour and the release of her album “Petal.”

Slater and Grande met while filming “Wicked” in 2022. At that time, Slater was still married to his ex-wife Lilly Jay, with whom he shares a 3-year-old son named Ezra. Grande was also married to her ex-husband Dalton Gomez.

A TV insider hinted at potential issues in Slater and Grande’s relationship when he attended her hosting gig on “Saturday Night Live” in December.

“People definitely were surprised that Ethan turned up,” a spy noted.
