Barron Trump’s Bold 7-Word Claim: “No One Will Get Past Me”
Donald Trump just dropped a jaw-dropping revelation about his son Barron’s soccer prowess, claiming the 20-year-old confidently declared, “Dad, no one will get past me.”
As the World Cup wraps up, Trump stood alongside FIFA president Gianni Infantino, reflecting on the tournament's six-week run. Known for his obsession with golf, Trump seems to have caught a whiff of soccer fever.
Trump gushed about Barron, his “tall” son who has a deep-rooted passion for the game. He described Barron as a “strong player,” but added a jab about his speed, noting, “the boy is a little on the larger side.”
During the press conference, Trump quizzed Barron on how he would fare against elite teams like Spain and Argentina. Barron’s response? A bold claim of ball control.

“I asked him, ‘But what if he’s faster than you? What will you do?’” Trump recounted. Barron’s seven-word comeback was a declaration of confidence that left Trump momentarily speechless.
Trump pressed further, but Barron didn’t elaborate. The president acknowledged that speed is crucial in soccer but insisted Barron is “good.”
Despite his father’s spotlight, Barron seems to prefer a behind-the-scenes role in soccer. Trump praised him as a “talented administrator” and a “soccer visionary.”
“He helped Gianni [Infantino] make soccer what it is today,” Trump stated, crediting the FIFA chief for elevating the sport to new heights.

Barron’s love for soccer isn’t new. The youngest son of Donald and Melania Trump has shown interest in the sport for years, even supporting Arsenal in the English Premier League.
In 2017, he was spotted playing soccer on the White House lawn in full Arsenal gear during his father’s first term. That same year, he chatted with D.C. United players at the White House, receiving a custom soccer ball from them.
In 2018, Barron met Wayne Rooney after reportedly asking his father to arrange the encounter. The young Trump has soccer in his blood; his grandfather Viktor Knavs played the sport in his youth.
Viktor Knavs, an 82-year-old Slovenian businessman, is expected to join Donald and Melania at the World Cup final on Sunday.
