Baywatch Actor Faces Allegations After Dog's Death in Disturbing Incident
David Charvet, known for his role on Baywatch, is facing serious allegations after a dog was reportedly struck by his vehicle. The incident, which has drawn significant attention, occurred in Los Angeles, with the dog's owner asserting that Charvet left the scene without offering assistance.
The collision allegedly took place on Thursday morning, April 16. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the event, with initial reports suggesting that it was not a deliberate act. However, Vera Errico, the dog's owner, contends that Charvet did not stop to check on her pet after the accident.

According to reports, Errico was walking her three dogs within a gated community in Malibu when the incident unfolded. Witnesses claim that a vehicle driven by Charvet struck her dog, leading to a tragic outcome.
Despite Errico and her husband’s efforts to save their pet, an 11-year-old white English Labrador named Sunday, the dog had to be euthanized due to its injuries. Errico expressed her devastation over the loss, highlighting the emotional toll of the incident.

TMZ first reported the story, noting that Charvet, who gained fame as Matt Brody in the 1990s series, allegedly did not stop after hitting the dog. Errico has since filed a report with local authorities regarding what she describes as a "hit and run." However, conflicting information has emerged, with sources indicating that Charvet did reach out to law enforcement following the incident.
The Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department has initiated an investigation into the matter. In a statement, they indicated that they are treating the collision as an accident. "It sounds like it was accidental and that the dogs were off leash and ran into the roadway," a department spokesperson said. "Charvet tried to swerve to avoid hitting them."

A deputy from the Sheriff’s Office has visited Errico to gather details for a "traffic collision" report. The officer sought clarification on whether the dog was leashed at the time of the incident. Errico maintains that her dog was indeed on a leash when struck, while Charvet reportedly claims he swerved to avoid the animal.
Charvet's rise to fame began in the 1990s alongside Pamela Anderson on Baywatch, where their relationship garnered media attention. After departing from the show in 1995, he appeared in various other productions, including Melrose Place. His most recent television appearance was in a cameo on The Apprentice in 2017.

The investigation continues as both parties await further developments regarding this unfortunate incident.
