Buffalo Bills Star Dion Dawkins Claims Josh Allen's Fatherhood Will Propel Team to Super Bowl Glory

Dion Dawkins, offensive tackle for the Buffalo Bills, boldly declares that quarterback Josh Allen's transition into fatherhood will be the catalyst for their Super Bowl victory in 2027.

“We’re looking forward to seeing his dad strength,” Dawkins stated at the 2026 Espy Awards in New York City, referencing Allen's recent fatherhood with the birth of daughter Harper Haize in April. “It’ll come and we need it.”

Describing Allen, Dawkins said, “Josh is lit. He has a beautiful life. He motivates us because he plays hard. The kid is unstoppable. He does crazy things. What is there not to love about him? That’s my quarterback.”

Dawkins expressed unwavering confidence that the Bills will “of course” clinch the 2027 Super Bowl title.

“We’re shooting for the stars,” he emphasized. “We have a lot of obstacles to go through but the first game of the season is camp. We got to have every guy present, every guy there to have a chance. I think we have a good shot.”

Following a heartbreaking AFC divisional round loss to the Denver Broncos in overtime, head coach Sean McDermott was dismissed in January, concluding his nine-year tenure with the Bills. Offensive coordinator Joe Brady was named as his successor.

On the coaching change, Dawkins remarked, “We all love him. The energy is great, the energy is cool, he’s a young, hip guy.”

Dawkins is particularly eager to face off against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs this season, labeling their rivalry as his “favorite competitive game.”

The Espys showcased top sports figures, including Jalen Brunson, Lindsey Vonn, and Dawkins’ teammate Damar Hamlin.

Buffalo Bills training camp kicks off on July 29, with Allen preparing for the upcoming NFL season.

Hailee Steinfeld, who married Allen on May 31, 2025, announced her pregnancy in a December Substack titled “29 moments I love this year.”

In a video clip, Steinfeld donned a jacket emblazoned with “mother” as Allen kissed her baby bump.

The couple welcomed their daughter in April, with Steinfeld sharing the news in a Substack post.

“Our baby girl has arrived!! We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savoring these early moments,” she wrote. “Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
