Last month, the rumor mill went into overdrive when Glaser guest-judged on “American Idol,” igniting speculation about a supposed rift between the two women. Fans took to social media, dissecting every glance and grimace.

Glaser stepped in as the fourth judge for the show’s inaugural Taylor Swift-themed night on April 27, and viewers were convinced Underwood was less than thrilled to share the spotlight with a die-hard Swiftie. Observers noted her scowls whenever Glaser spoke.

But Underwood, 43, dismissed these theories during an appearance on Sirius XM’s “Highway Mornings with Cody Alan,” stating emphatically that there’s “no beef” between her and Glaser, 41.

Alan pointed out that some fans seem to thrive on stirring up drama. “I’m like, ‘Do you know Carrie Underwood? She’s never going to be a mean person,’” he said. “They want to cause a catfight over the smallest little thing.”

Underwood responded with grace, saying she’s “very used to that” kind of speculation and praised Glaser’s performance. “I think she did such a great job because it’s not an easy thing to come sit behind that desk and try to think of constructive things to say,” she said. “And I don’t know, I feel like she did everything wonderfully. But no, there’s no beef. I have no beef.”

As a seasoned judge on the long-running show, Underwood has developed a thick skin. Last March, she even clapped back at the audience after being booed during a live episode. “Boo me. I don’t care,” she tweeted while the show aired.
