Coronation Street fans are in disbelief after discovering the real age of Sally Carman, the actress behind the beloved character Abi Webster. The shockwaves hit social media when her birthday was announced, leaving viewers gasping.

Since her debut on the iconic ITV soap in 2017, Abi has become a fan favorite, embroiled in gripping storylines that have kept audiences glued to their screens. Last year, Sally opened up about her youthful appearance, revealing her beauty secrets. "Oh, it’s no secret - I have fillers, I have Botox, facials... I do all of it," she confessed in an interview. "I’m really open about it. I don’t think there’s anything worse than someone promoting a cream saying: ‘Buy this mega-bucks cream and your face will be as smooth as mine.’ I’m like: ‘Yeah, whatever.’ So there’s no cream - well, there is, but there are other things on top."

In an exciting update for fans, Sally confirmed she’ll be gracing our screens as Abi until at least 2027 after signing another year-long contract. "Just signed for another year, which is great. My goodness, I love it. It’s my favorite job I’ve ever done," she shared at the TV Choice Awards.

Not only is she thriving on-screen, but Sally also found love with co-star Joe Duttine, who plays Tim Metcalfe. The couple met on set in 2017 and got engaged during lockdown in 2020 before tying the knot two years later.

Recounting their unique engagement story on Kate Thornton's podcast, White Wine Question Time, Sally described a romantic moment during a walk in the Dales. "We were walking around this big field... and he went: ‘Kids, have a look in between the dry stone walling because you know, they used to put coins and precious things to hide them in the walls.’" She continued, "I found this box. And I opened it. I’m like: ‘No way.’ And then there was another box inside. And I turned around and he was on one knee."
