UFC President Dana White described his experience at the White House Correspondents' Dinner during the shooting as "f–king awesome," a remark that has quickly gained traction on social media.
At 56, White, known for his close ties to Trump, recounted the chaos while seated "right in front of the president" when gunfire erupted. A reporter captured his vivid description on video.
"It started getting noisy—tables flipping, people running in with guns, yelling 'get down!'" he detailed, reflecting on the pandemonium.
Despite the turmoil, White remained standing. "I didn’t get down; it was f–king awesome. I literally took every minute of it in. It was a pretty crazy, unique experience," he added.
As the Secret Service rushed in, he admitted confusion about the situation. "Guys came in looking for shooters; they approached our table, and I thought the shooter was near us or something," he explained.
