Donald Trump flubbed a major name during a live broadcast, igniting fears about his mental acuity. The President, who recently turned 80, mistakenly called tech mogul Elon Musk "Leon" while discussing Starlink, before quickly correcting himself.

Trump's slip occurred while he was unveiling the new presidential plane. He continued speaking without acknowledging the blunder, but social media erupted with concern over his mental state. One user on X highlighted the gaffe, stating, "TRUMP SUFFERS MAJOR COGNITIVE SLIP ON LIVE TV. Trump just FORGOT Elon’s name, calling him 'LEON.' This might be Trump’s biggest mental slip yet."
Viewers expressed alarm over the incident. Comments flooded in, with one user stating, "Yeah he’s slipping hard," while another pointed out the irony of MAGA supporters criticizing Joe Biden for appearing sleepy, yet ignoring Trump's confusion and public mishaps.

Another observer remarked on the disarray of Trump's words: "All the right letters, sadly in the wrong order. When will someone actually do something about him?" A different commenter warned, "He’s showing clear signs of dementia, and it’s only going to get worse with each passing day."
This incident follows a peculiar speech at the G7 summit in France, where many described Trump’s remarks as "strange" and "quite rambling." Just days before this latest gaffe, tensions flared between Trump and Musk after Musk left the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

During their conflict, Musk claimed Trump would not have won the 2024 election without his backing, stating, "Without me, Trump would have lost the election... Such ingratitude." Despite their public fallout, they seemed to reconcile when Musk joined Trump’s delegation during a visit to China.
Trump's slip-up has raised eyebrows and concerns about his cognitive health among viewers and critics alike.
