Emmerdale's Newest Trouble-Maker: Jason Done's Steve Sparks Chaos
Steve's arrival in Emmerdale signals trouble, as he’s already digging into old secrets and stirring the pot.
During the latest episode, Steve, a friend of Kev Townsend, made his entrance, and fans might recognize Jason Done from his previous role in a rival drama.

While Lewis Barton worked in the café, he noticed Steve eyeing his father, prompting curiosity about the stranger. Kev quickly identified Steve, his old friend from Manchester, who wasted no time in revealing Kev’s “naughty” past.
As Steve met Lewis, he quipped that a child of Kev’s was “bound to pop up,” hinting at the chaos he plans to unleash now that Kev has settled in the village.

Steve soon secured a place to stay with Charles and Claudette Anderson, questioning whether Kev was after Claudette’s money. Kev insisted he had left his shady past behind and genuinely cared for his son, but Steve’s intentions appeared far less noble.
Jason Done is no stranger to the screen, having gained fame as Tom Clarkson in Waterloo Road from 2006 to 2013. His character was embroiled in scandal from the start, having an affair with a colleague while his wife was left in the dark.

Over the seasons, Tom faced immense grief as both his wife and mistress met tragic ends. His storyline concluded dramatically when he fell off a roof while trying to save a student, leading to his demise.
Beyond acting, Jason is married to Anoushka Done, an agency director. They wed in 2009 and have two children, though they keep their family life private.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and is available for streaming from 7am on ITVX.
