Eric Trump Sparks Outrage with New Trump Tower Announcement in Tbilisi
Eric Trump took to social media Monday, igniting a storm of criticism after revealing plans for a new Trump Tower in Tbilisi, Georgia. He boasted that it would be “the tallest building” in the region, expressing his excitement over sharing the official rendering of this glitzy foreign high-rise.

“I am so excited to share the official rendering of Trump Tower Tbilisi,” he posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. “With a prime location, in the heart of Tbilisi, this tower will quickly become a landmark as the tallest building in Georgia.”
He added, “This marks our first project in the region and we are so excited to bring it to life!” But while Eric is thrilled about this luxury venture, many critics are less than impressed, especially as millions of Americans grapple with soaring costs and inflation.
The Trump Organization claims this “dynamic mixed-use destination” will soar 70 stories high, featuring “luxury residences, world-class dining,” and a plethora of amenities. The architectural design is reportedly in the hands of Gensler, a firm known for its high-profile projects.
Yet, the timing of this announcement has raised eyebrows. Critics point out that while Eric Trump celebrates a new skyscraper in a post-Soviet state, many back home are struggling to afford basic necessities. “We can’t afford food and gas and you’re telling us about a high rise,” one user lamented on X.
Donald Trump’s “America First” mantra seems to have been forgotten as he and his family continue to profit from international ventures. Just last month, Eric faced accusations of corruption when the Pentagon awarded a $24 million contract to Foundation Future Industries, a robotics startup where he serves as chief strategy adviser. Democratic lawmakers have raised serious concerns about this connection.
Adding fuel to the fire, Eric and his brother Donald Trump Jr. recently secured a lucrative U.S. Air Force contract to supply drone interceptors through their defense technology company. This has only intensified scrutiny over their business dealings.
While reports indicate that the president’s foreign licensing income surged by 650% in 2024, both the Trump administration and the Trump Organization have denied any ethical violations or illegal activities tied to their business pursuits during his presidency.
As the announcement of Trump Tower Tbilisi reverberates across social media, critics are voicing their frustration loud and clear. “The Trump grift continues… To think these lethally stupid & gullible MAGAs twisted themselves into knots because Hunter Biden sat on a board and sold a few paintings,” one user remarked. The backlash is palpable as many question the priorities of the Trump family amidst ongoing economic struggles at home.
