Jacob Elordi, the 28-year-old star of “Euphoria,” unleashed a sharp rebuke on a fan in Japan who crossed the line by getting too close for a selfie.
The incident unfolded outside a restaurant, captured in a now-viral video that shows Elordi visibly irritated as the fan approached him on a bustling street.
“What up, chief?” the fan greeted while placing his arm on Elordi’s back, clearly overstepping boundaries.

“Don’t touch me, bro,” Elordi snapped back, making it clear he wasn’t interested in physical contact.
The fan, identified as Otavio Bittencourt, later shared footage of the encounter on Instagram, lamenting, “Just wanted a picture chief” alongside a sad face emoji.
The video has ignited fierce debate online. Some defend Elordi’s right to maintain personal space, while others criticize his curt response as excessive.
“The fan was probably just excited,” one user commented, while another remarked, “I understand boundaries, but the response felt a little cold.”
Supporters of Elordi were equally vocal. “Secondhand embarrassment and not because of Jacob. Why do you touch unsolicited people on the streets?” questioned one commenter. “Jacob, we love you,” the photographer called out as Elordi was surrounded by security.
Elordi removed an earphone and retorted, “You make it really hard for me to live.”
When the photographer repeated, “We love you,” Elordi shot back, “I don’t love you,” reiterating, “You make it really hard for me to live.”
Two months earlier, he had a heated confrontation with an official at the Venice Film Festival red carpet.
A video captured Elordi interacting with fans before an official attempted to rush him along.
“I’m going to take a picture right here,” the defiant “Saltburn” actor declared while posing for a selfie with a fan.
As he continued signing autographs and posing for photos, Elordi firmly told the official, “Don’t ever tell me what to do.”
