Flight Horror: Man Gropes Sleeping Woman, Hands Her Creepy Note

May 05 2026

On a recent Swiss International Air Lines Flight LX64 to Miami, a nightmare unfolded as a man allegedly groped a sleeping woman beside him, only to later return with a chilling note.

Guillaume Sebastien Roger Mattler, 48, is now in hot water, charged with abusive sexual contact according to federal court documents. The incident took place in the first-class cabin where he was seated next to a 29-year-old woman.

While she dozed off, Mattler reportedly attempted to slip his fingers under her clothing. Two passengers captured the unsettling scene on their phones, documenting the horror as it unfolded.

“Witness 2 observed Mattler moving his hand in a ‘submarine’ motion, as if trying to get his hand under the Victim’s clothing and/or between her legs,” an FBI Special Agent detailed in a statement.

One concerned passenger alerted the flight crew after witnessing Mattler’s hand on the woman’s “crotch, over her jeans, making a scooping or rubbing motion,” according to reports.

The woman remained blissfully unaware of the assault while asleep until a flight attendant broke the news to her. The shock sent her into a panic, shaking and crying as the reality of the situation sank in.

In a bizarre twist, Mattler later approached her with a note that read: “You look beautiful when you are sleeping.” Talk about adding insult to injury!

Despite the overwhelming evidence, the French national denied any wrongdoing, insisting “nothing had happened” during the flight. However, when confronted with video evidence, he admitted to touching her but downplayed it, claiming it wasn’t a big deal.

He further insisted he had “only” touched her lower back and buttocks, stating he “touched whatever he could reach from across the armrest.”

Mattler is set to face court again on Monday after his initial hearing last week. This incident follows another shocking in-flight occurrence last month where a flight attendant was groped by a passenger who insisted his actions didn’t “count as sexual harassment.”

Passengers were left stunned as he claimed he merely “lightly patted” the crew member during a flight from Malaysia to China. The skies are getting wilder, folks!
