FLIP-FLOPPER: Joe Rogan Reverses Stance on Trump, Joins Him at White House for Executive Order
On Saturday, Joe Rogan made a notable appearance at the White House as Donald Trump signed a significant executive order aimed at addressing mental health issues.
Rogan's shift in perspective regarding Trump comes after the President mentioned that the podcaster was among those who reached out about innovative psychedelic treatments. This marks a departure from Rogan's previous criticisms of the 79-year-old leader.

Trump has been vocal about tackling the "suicide epidemic" affecting veterans, and during the signing ceremony, he unveiled plans to "accelerate medical treatments for serious mental illness," which prominently includes psychedelic therapies.
Despite having expressed doubts about Trump, Rogan stood by as the President signed the order in the Oval Office, showcasing his support for the initiative. "The potential for those suffering from severe mental illness and depression, including our cherished veterans, is immense," Trump stated, emphasizing the ongoing struggles faced by veterans.
"I received calls from several individuals, including the great Joe Rogan, urging action on this issue," Trump added, highlighting Rogan's influence in this matter.
In his remarks, Trump also praised ibogaine, a Schedule I controlled substance, referencing a study that suggested participants saw an "80 to 90 percent reduction in symptoms of depression and anxiety within one month." "Today we’re bringing them new hope," he declared, expressing optimism about the potential impact of these treatments.

Rogan revealed that his communication with Trump played a crucial role in the executive order's development. "I want to share how this unfolded," he explained. "I sent President Trump some information… and his response was immediate: 'Sounds great. Do you want FDA approval? Let’s do it.' It was literally that quick."
Trump clarified that he didn't act impulsively; he consulted with Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who was present during the signing, and other administration officials before proceeding.
During the event, Trump also took a moment to poke fun at Rogan's more liberal views, particularly regarding recent comments on the conflict in Iran. "We all respect Joe," Trump remarked. "He’s a little bit more liberal than me and that’s okay."
Earlier in the week, Rogan had humorously addressed Trump's AI-generated image depicting him as Jesus Christ, which had been shared on social media. While he did not directly criticize the post, he made light of it during his podcast with former Navy SEAL Andy Stumpf. "AI God must have created that post," Rogan quipped, suggesting a playful take on the controversial image.
