GOP Minions Falsely Claim Trump 'Defies Age' Amidst Obvious Health Crises
President Trump, the oldest individual to ever hold the presidency, faces a barrage of health concerns while his supporters absurdly claim he defies age. The White House insists he is fit to serve, but the reality paints a different picture.
As Trump approaches his 80th birthday, congressional Republicans scramble to praise him. They laud his supposed vitality, even as evidence of his declining health mounts. He will become the second octogenarian to occupy the White House.
“At least to date, he has seemed to utterly defy age,” Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz stated, marveling at Trump's energy levels. “I don’t know where he gets the energy that he displays, but he is up early in the morning and late at night.”
Supporters point to Trump's erratic sleep schedule as proof of his vigor. The president reportedly sleeps only a few hours each night and makes calls to allies at odd hours to discuss policy.

“He calls me at sometimes 2 o’clock in the morning,” GOP Louisiana Senator John Kennedy remarked. “I mean, just because you’re 80 doesn’t mean you’re falling apart. For some people it does — but other people are fine.”
Representative Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) echoed this sentiment, claiming, “If there’s one thing I know about President Trump, it’s that nothing slows him down.”
Despite these claims, Trump's health has raised alarms during his second term. He has been spotted with large bruises on both hands, frequently appears to doze off during meetings, and his speech has become increasingly disjointed.
His recent visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center marked his third in just 13 months. The White House delayed releasing results longer than usual this time. Ultimately, US Navy Captain Sean Barbabella, Trump's doctor, declared the president "remains in excellent health" with "strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function."

However, skepticism looms over these findings. High-profile doctors have criticized the report for its perceived omissions. “That report is almost too good to be true for somebody of his age,” Texas vascular surgeon William Shutze commented. “This seems to be a filtered narrative.”
CNN medical analyst Dr. Jonathan Reiner questioned the necessity of another coronary artery CT scan for Trump, given that he had one just six months prior. “We don’t typically scan patients 6 months later unless we are concerned about a finding on the initial scan. What prompted the repeat CT?” Reiner wrote on X.
Trump's visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center adds to the growing list of health concerns surrounding him. The president's age and health status remain under scrutiny.
Despite being the oldest president in history, the White House continues to assert that Trump is healthy and capable of fulfilling his duties.

“President Trump is the sharpest and most accessible President in American history who is working nonstop to solve problems and deliver on his promises, and he remains in excellent health,” White House spokesperson Davis Ingle stated.
In July, Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a condition common among older individuals that causes blood to pool in the legs due to vein issues. Since then, he has attempted to conceal swollen legs and persistent hand bruising.
According to Barbabella, Trump takes approximately 325 milligrams of aspirin daily for “cardiac prevention.” Trump has previously attributed his bruising to this aspirin regimen. The White House has also suggested that handshaking contributes to his lesions.
After an October visit to the medical center, Trump informed reporters that he had undergone an MRI; however, it was later revealed that it was actually a CT scan of his heart and abdomen.

This year marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. As celebrations commence for what is known as the semiquincentennial, Trump has chosen his birthday, June 14th, for major events.
Among these events is a UFC gathering on the South Lawn at the White House. Online renderings showcase what the completed fight space is expected to look like ahead of Sunday’s event. It will feature a wire-mesh-fence-ringed area surrounded by a red, white, and blue stage adorned with star-and-stripe patterns and two large screens broadcasting live action.
The arena will include thousands of temporary seats, with ringside space allocated for a full marching band to enhance the atmosphere with music.
Trump has claimed that the finished UFC project will boast “a 5,000-seat arena right outside the front door of the White House.” Additional large screens will broadcast fights in a nearby park at the Ellipse, with plans for up to 85,000 free tickets for spectators at both locations.
“I have never seen anybody want anything so much as people want those tickets,” Trump stated regarding demand for the UFC fight, adding, “That’s gonna be something.”
